Why acrylic? Why is acrylic an investment?

Regular glass can cause "off gassing" inside a frame which can lead to yellowing. Acrylic does not have that issue and is much more durable than glass. Acrylic is a high-quality plastic known for its durability, clarity, and scratch resistance while also having better light transmittance. Most of our pieces are framed in UV-resistant acrylic which helps preserve the color ways and texture of the art as it was intended.

Do you frame pieces in glass shadowboxes?

Unfortunately, we do not frame pieces in glass. There are many reasons why we do not use glass. For example, it will not preseve the art as well as acrylic. Glass is also more likely to break in the shipping process.

Do you ever create pieces framed in custom size acrylic shadowboxes?

Where are your prints and stationary printed?

We are happy to announce that all of our giclee prints and stationary items are printed in the USA.

What is mulberry paper? Why mulberry paper?

Mulberry paper is unique! It is known for its high-quality texture, excellent ink absorption, strength and flexibility, and eco-friendliness. The distinct texture found in mulberry paper gives the art depth different than any other type of paper. Additionally, mulberry paper has great ink absorption; mulberry paper is harvested from mulberry tree bark which has very long fibers. These fibers have a porous structure that allows the paper to absorb ink deeply and evenly, resulting in vibrant, rich colors and sharp, clear lines. The long fibers also make this paper exceptionally strong. Since mulberry paper is made from natural fibers, it is a renewable material meaning it is eco-friendly.

What is your return policy for fine art, prints, and stationery?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase or your item/piece has been damaged in the shipping process, please email hello@gigimagerstudio.com within 24 hours upon delivery. We print and frame on demand and consider all orders custom.  Generally, there are no returns meaning all sales are final, although we will work with you on a case-by-case basis under certain circumstances.

Do discount codes apply to fine art?

Discount codes can only be used on our giclee prints and stationary collections.

Can I provide my own shadowbox?

Unfortunately, we do not accept shadowbox frames from clients.

Quality is important to us. We have done many hours of research, vetted vendors, and attended the school of hard knocks to find the right supplier and acrylic grade for our frames. Additionally, the frames we use come with a lifetime guarantee (conditions apply). This value-add would not be possible if clients insisted on their own frames. What is your return policy for apparel?

CLOTHING ONLY: 

We strive to offer you the best and hope that you're 100% satisfied with your purchase from Gigi Mager Studio! Customers have 7 business days from delivery to return their item(s) for a full refund to the original payment method. The item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered/in their original condition and in the original packaging with original tags intact to be eligible for a return. If these circumstances are not met, we cannot issue a refund for the item. After the 7 business days expire and up to 30 days from the purchase date, we can either exchange your item or offer store credit if the item is unworn, unwashed, and unaltered/in their original condition and in the original packaging with original tags intact. After 30 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot accept your return and appreciate your understanding.

Once the return has been accepted from our team, we kindly ask that you ship it back to our storefront within 24 hours and send your tracking information via email to hello@gigimagerstudio.com.

Please note that we do not offer free returns. We are a small business; we appreciate your understanding.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Can I make changes to my order after it has been placed?

Unfortunately, after an order has been placed, no changes can be made. Double check your order is correct before proceeding with payment.

Are preorders and orders guaranteed?

Although rare, due to inventory availability, some items may not be sent with your order. You will be notified via email as soon as possible and refunded for items that we are unable to fulfill. Thank you for your understanding.

Are items in my virtual shopping bag on hold?

Products added to your bag are not reserved until your order has shipped.

My order tracking states my order was delivered, but I do not have my package. What do I do?

Sometimes orders can be lost in transit or wrongly marked as delivered. If you believe there was an issue during transit, please reach out to us at hello@gigimagerstudio.com with your order information and shipping address.

NOTE:

If the order was delivered to the address provided at checkout, we cannot be held responsible for that package once it is delivered. We do not cover stolen items or offer replacements for orders that were sent to an incorrect address.

How do I care for the fabric?

Our 100% cotton fabric will shrink slightly upon first washing, mostly in length, just as any other item made of cotton. Launder separately upon first wash.  Care for your garment by machine washing with like colors in cold water to prevent fading. Use a mild soap on delicate cycle. Never use chlorine bleach or Oxyclean. Tumble dry low

If you insist on buying dollar store detergent and you let your husband do your laundry…anything can happen.
